Choptank & Tilghman

We adopted these two orphaned littermate brothers through Gold Heart Golden Retriever Rescue. At 7 y/o, we just couldn't let them be seperated, and go to different forever homes. We fell in love with them as soon as we met them while transporting them from their give up home to the vet for boarding and offerred to be their Foster Home the next day. Of course that immediately led to our adopting them

They may look like couch potatoes, but can really be a couple of live wires when it comes to play time. They are both love bugs who will snuggle up next to us. They just seem to crave love and attention. Wherever we are, they are always there, supervising our activities or just plain being nosy. They are both most definitely "Velcro Dogs". Gentlemen both, they listen to us and obey our commands. Well, most of the time anyway. They always friendly and gentle and love to meet new people, children and other dogs

They are from Maryland's Eastern Shore and named after the Choptank River and Tilghman Island on the Chesapeake Bay.
